Street tacos. Not hipster street tacos with weird non street taco ingredients like kombucha braised kale. Street tacos. I had 2 al pastor and one asada plus rice and beans and I was out the "door" for $5. You can't beat those prices. There is not really seating besides the curb and your car so plan on taking it back to work or home. Great spot for lunch if you find yourself on this side of town at that time.

Delicious tacos, I recommend the pork great prices, and great tasting food. The Horchata is delicious as well, I've been here 3 times now and the food is always fantastic. I've added some photos of the menu and their prices. I added these pictures July 31, 2015 so check prices accordingly.

Guys. This place is great! The tacos and mulita were great. The asada and chicken were very good but al pastor was wicked good. Just enough heat. Se pica un pocito no mas. For the cost very hard to beat. If you like chain Mexican this may not be for you but if you know how great tacos from a truck or from your tio's parrilla can be this is for you. Stay hungry my friends.

Best Tacos EVER!!!! Great speedy service and the food is always good. You never have to question if your order is right. I have been going here for years and will drive past 5 other taco trucks to get here.

I found the blue truck, parked in the lot, and asked for six different tacos. I was given a number, and was asked for $6. I asked if they made a mistake, but they responded that it is in fact $6. I happily gave the lady $6, took my number, placed $1 in the tip jar, and waited for a few minutes to get my tacos. The tacos all tasted great, especially the lengua and cabeza. If I lived near by, I would probably eat here at least once a week.

This place is SOOO BOMB! My ultimate favorite tacos! I really enjoy the flavorful chicken tacos! I've tried beef before but the chicken always gets to me. Tortas here are super yummy and huge! I usually ask for a side of avocado for my orders and they give a whole lot for only a dollar. Sides: rice and beans( has cheese on top) Keep in mind, they are ALWAYS BUSY. Take their number down and give them a call for a take out if you know what you are wanting already! Helps out the both of YA!

Two steak burritos for $8.. How do you beat that? Not to mention it was awesome and authentic! I'm from San Diego and it has been such a challenge to find decent let alone authentic Mexican food here in Oklahoma and I am so glad I stopped at taqueria Sanchez. I'll definitely be back again!

$1 tacos are amazing- steak, pork, chicken, beef check and beef tongue. It's a little blue food truck on 10th, just west of Tulsa. They also serve Jarritos sodas. Trust me, they are worth hanging out on 10th.

  • Melissa M.

This place is amazing, best tacos I have ever eaten. We were skeptical at 1st but we read all the reviews on Yelp & thought we would give it a try. The price was so reasonable & the food was so good! We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful, modestly priced meals. Clean, friendly -- as good as taco trucks get.

  • Lauren W.

Like, the best taco truck. I looooooove the mulitas with barbacoa. Their tacos are good too. There is always a mix of all different kinds of people here, so you know it's good.

Incredibly delicious and affordable authentic Mexican food. Best torta and tacos I've tasted in OKC. Asada and Barbacoa, in particular are fantastic.

This is place is the best taco truck in Oklahoma City hands down. Good food, good prices, and friendly staff. Can't beat that! I would rather eat here than big truck tacos. Delicious sodas too!

Just pretend like this is the only taco place in the city, because you need nothing more than taqueria Sanchez for all your taco needs. everything is seasoned perfectly. meats are tender and flavor is never lacking. perfect tiny little tacos for 1$ a piece. and the quesadillas (4$) are equally as amazing in a totally different way. every time we get Sanchez we say we wish we could eat it for every meal... but that wouldn't be too healthy for our bodies. it's a great treat on a weekend afternoon or any time.

Their tacos are ten times better than the Big Truck Taco. They are just off Tulsa on the southwest corner of the 10th st. It's my first time to try the beef tongue taco and beef tripe taco. The beef tongue taco was good, but the tripes was too dry. They have about seven or eight different kinds of tacos you can choose from. They also have burritos and other dishes. I will definitely go back to that place.

Best taco stand on the planet. Ask for extra salsa. It's the best part!

The predominant language at this food truck is Spanish (that's a good sign when looking for Mexican food). Unfortunately, my Spanish is limited to "uno mas cerveza, por favor" & "donde esta el bano?" Fortunately, the lady that takes the orders speaks English as well (I wish I spoke two languages). Taqueria Sanchez is the real deal. Tasty and affordable. So far I've tried the $1.00 street tacos and the burritos (both are muy delicioso). Also available are tortas, mulitas, and quesadillas. The aforementioned are available in steak, pork, chicken, and I look forward to venturing into beef tongue territory soon. There's always a crowd (another good sign when looking for a place to eat), but the line moves reasonably fast. The ambiance alone makes this place worth the trip.

Any place that has good tripe, and tounge tacos gets my vote! Great place well worth the short drive from downtown.

Head west on NW 10th Street until the "Beach Bums" sign next door makes you smile, and pull into an unassuming little lot where Taqueria Sanchez holds court. I usually get three tacos: asada, barbacoa, and al pastor nestled in two hot little corn tortillas. They come with a dusting of cilantro, some lovely light chile in the meat, a lime quarter, and pickled carrots ,onions, and peppers. The burritos are big and hearty; the quesadillas ooze unctuous warm madness. Get yourself a horchata or Jarrito and stand outside in the damn cold while you wait for your tasty order to be served up hot. (Or I suppose, you could check out the fine establishment next door? I have a feeling you might prefer just to wait patiently por tres tacos.). Nothing fancy here. You could blunder around with your clumsy espanol because it feels like maybe you should, or simply order in your native tongue, gringo. Just listen for your number in espanol. I always forget to check in here, which makes me kinda crazy because I get these tacos about once every week or so. Food is cheap and delicious and totally worth the drive across town. What a good truck should be.

Great food! $5 for 3 tacos, rice and beans! Went with another person that I work with and we both enjoyed it. Salsa was delicious. Tacos have a great seasoning with very well prepared meat! Located on the North side of the street. Bright blue building. Guy at the window was very friendly and nice.

Best damn place to get tacos in all of OKC! These are real Mexican tacos that will blow your mind. My m8's and I visit this taco truck regularly. Some may think because it's a taco truck you should keep on driving but you should seriously consider pulling over and ordering either a torta or tacos or both!

They have amazing tacos, just for $1 each! They sell Jarritos too. Best taco truck in OKC.

I had high hopes for this place. I would go again, but would not make a special trip out there. I had a carne asada burrito. It was tasty but a little salty and very very greasy, like more than 1/8 cup at the bottom of the bag from this burrito and two tacos. Salsa was good. Lengua was good. Price is great!

  • Jordan W.

Went here for lunch today and it was fantastic! I've been to a lot of tacquerias around OKC this summer and they've got some of the best here. Tacos are $1 each. They crisp up the tortillas, so they won't fall apart like a few others places. I got the pork, steak, and barbacoa, all were awesome. The pork was really incredible too. Just a heads up to people, this is a permanent food truck location with no seating. Doesn't matter though, food is well worth dropping by.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
